Job summary

CEI is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst & Build Engineer in Richmond, VA to bridge business and technical teams. You will lead systems analysis, CI/CD, and IaC initiatives, collaborating with product owners, developers, and operators to ensure reliable, scalable enterprise applications.

Qualifications

Strong experience gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and technical requirements.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum ceremonies.
Experience creating and managing user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements, and process documentation.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, or related CI/CD platforms.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
Experience with SQL, Oracle databases, and data analysis.
Understanding system integrations, APIs, web services, and data interfaces.
Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, YAML, or similar technologies.
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working across cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze business needs, define requirements, and deliver scalable technology solutions.
Provide subject matter expertise and support for enterprise applications by managing production issues and coordinating releases.
Participate in all phases of the SDLC within Agile environments, supporting backlog management and sprint planning.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and cloud-based solutions across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments.
Implement DevSecOps, governance, and observability practices in delivery pipelines and operations.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture artifacts, and training materials.
