Job summary

Wolf Greenfield is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to design, implement, and maintain server systems, storage, and network applications. The role includes daily server upkeep, backup management, disaster recovery planning, and on-call support to ensure uptime.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in Windows Server environments, strong PowerShell scripting, and hands-on experience with VMware, Veeam, AD/GP, and security frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer information systems or related field.
• 10+ years in building and supporting Windows Server environments and scripting with PowerShell.
• 7+ years Windows client OS and server administration.
• 5+ years of AD & Group Policy administration.
• 5+ years VMware vCenter/ESXi administration.
• Experience with Veeam backup and replication.
• Experience with security frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Microsoft certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own overall Windows Server administration including patch management and after-hours maintenance.
• Maintain security, stability, and performance of remote environments; travel to NYC and DC offices as needed.
• Provide backup infrastructure oversight and server environment monitoring.
• Assist M365 Admin with Entra support including MFA and federated services.
• Provide off-hour on-call support to ensure system uptime.
• Document system functions and maintain knowledge base.
• Support other IT departments and perform assigned duties.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Computer Information System or related area of study

Microsoft certifications strongly preferred (e.g. MS Certified Windows Server Administrator)
