Knight Federal Solutions is recruiting a seasoned Systems Administrator to maintain and optimize our enterprise IT infrastructure in a secure, TS/SCI environment. You will manage server and network configurations, apply hardening best practices, and support mission-critical systems across Windows and Linux.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), cloud familiarity (AWS/Azure), and strong scripting skills

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required or equivalent
• 8+ years of systems administration experience
• Experience with Windows and Linux administration
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and security awareness

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and software applications
• Perform routine system checks and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly
• Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy system upgrades
• Monitor system performance and generate improvement reports
• Provide technical support and guidance to users
• Ensure data integrity with backups and disaster recovery planning
• Stay updated with industry trends to propose innovative solutions
