Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator to join a mission-focused team supporting applications, services, microservices, and Platform as a Service. The role emphasizes designing and implementing systems and architecture within a SOA context, aiding intelligence analysis across the IC and Combatant Commands.

The position requires hands-on administration of Unix and Windows systems, strong problem-solving, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 compliant at IA Technical (IAT) / IA Management (IAM) Level 2 required.
• Experience on a development team under DoD/DIA RMF.
• Understanding of Oracle and CENTOS based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems on LAN/WAN.
• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Deliver training to support applications when requested.
• Review documentation, witness IV&V tests, troubleshoot problems, and propose quality improvements.
• Support day-to-day IT operations across client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
