Job summary

Lunar Outpost, a leader in space robotics, seeks a Senior Systems Administrator to design, implement, and manage enterprise systems across Azure, AWS, and on-prem environments. You will work with IT and Security leadership to develop maintenance schedules, architect new environments, and support critical company projects.

The role requires 4+ years in systems administration, expertise in VMware ESXi, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and strong scripting skills. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/DevOps or equivalent.
• 4+ years in direct systems/network administration.
• 2+ years in general IT experience.
• Azure Fundamentals certification.
• Experience managing AWS and ESXi.
• Familiarity with NIST frameworks.
• Excellent shell language knowledge.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, and PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support system backups.
• Communicate technical concepts and workflows effectively.
• Support ESXI/VMware environments.
• Develop and manage Microsoft Azure environments.
• Manage SharePoint Online and integrations.
• Support multi-cluster Kubernetes environments.
• Coordinate with security to implement NIST controls.
• Manage and design Okta Flows; support Okta deployments.
• Work with endpoints team and service desk on escalations.
• Prioritize work across multiple projects; meet deadlines.
