Job summary

Archbold is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator for IS Network Services in Georgia. The role focuses on installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of complex networks, servers, and cloud services, with emphasis on security and reliability.

5 years of experience required; CompTIA Network+ or Server+ preferred, with advanced VMware, Microsoft, and EMC certifications encouraged within the first year.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of network administration experience.
• CompTIA Network+ or CompTIA Server+ preferred.
• Advanced certifications (VMware, Microsoft, EMC) within 1 year of service may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and support organization systems, networks, cloud services, and servers.
• Monitor system performance, security, and reliability; ensure aligns with user needs.
• Lead major technology projects with cross-functional teams; coordinate with vendors and IS staff.
• Develop training materials and conduct staff training on systems usage.
• Monitor metrics, run tests, and perform audits for quality control.
• Assist IS Infrastructure Director with budgeting, procurement, and contract management.
