Job summary

Kids for the Future, based in Indianapolis area, is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure. You will ensure reliable server and network operations while delivering exceptional support to staff across 29 retail locations and a corporate office.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of systems administration experience, strong AD/GP, cloud familiarity with Azure/AWS, and hands-on experience with Hyper-V, VMware, and backup

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of proven Systems Administrator experience.
• Strong experience with Hyper-V and VMware.
• Proficient with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience administering O365/Exchange Online.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• On-call and after-hours rotation as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers and network systems.
• Oversee and optimize organizational network operations.
• Provide internal technical support.
• Manage virtual host environments (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Configure Windows Failover Clustering (2019-2022).
• Administer Microsoft Entra and Exchange Online.
• Implement and manage backup technologies (Veeam, Cohesity, Rubrik).
• Leverage PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Collaborate with leadership and end users to address technical needs.
