Job summary

Kansas Ag Connection is seeking a Systems Administrator to oversee and maintain the stability and availability of the server environment, including hardware, virtualization, and cloud integration. You will implement backups, disaster recovery, monitoring, and security practices, while guiding staff and coordinating with vendors.

Requires a 5–8 year IT background, an undergraduate degree, and hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Rubrik, Azure, and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; 5–8 years IT experience including hardware/software, backups, maintenance, and performance tools.
• Experience with system migrations, problem isolation, and data center performance analysis.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the systems environment; support vendor products and hardware.
• Provide installation, configuration, and support services.
• Perform patches, firmware, and operating system updates.
