Qualifications
- Strong hands-on Windows Server administration in a sizable enterprise.
- Experience with VMware, Veeam backup/recovery ownership, including restore testing.
- Azure administration/operations in a hybrid environment.
- Experience with multi-domain environments, dependencies, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Proven automation experience using PowerShell or similar.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day health, availability, and lifecycle of enterprise Windows server infrastructure.
- Administer and troubleshoot VMware, Veeam, Azure in a complex production environment.
- Drive OS patching, lifecycle planning, upgrades, and remediation of aging systems.
- Own backup operations and recovery readiness, including restore testing.
- Use PowerShell or automation to reduce manual effort and improve control.
- Coordinate infrastructure changes with application owners and IT teams.
