Job summary

Analytica, based in Bethesda, MD, seeks an experienced Systems Administrator to manage secure compute, OS, IAM, storage, monitoring, and infrastructure services for a Federal data analytics initiative.

You will harden Linux platforms, manage access controls, patching, and incident response, while coordinating with security, DevOps, and application teams to ensure system availability and governance. A Top Secret eligible candidate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in secure Federal or regulated environments as an enterprise systems administrator.
• Hands-on Linux system administration including IAM, storage, certificates, services, patching, and hardening.
• Experience supporting development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Experience with system monitoring, logging, backup, recovery, and incident response.
• Strong troubleshooting across OS, applications, networking, storage, access, and infrastructure services.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and documentation skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance (Top Secret eligibility preferred).

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain secure compute, operating systems, identity and access, storage, monitoring, and infrastructure services.
• Configure and harden Linux operating systems and enterprise infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, certificates, services, configurations, and access controls.
• Perform system patching, vulnerability remediation, security hardening, and configuration management.
• Support development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Implement and maintain system monitoring, logging, backup, recovery, and incident response capabilities.
• Troubleshoot system, application, network, storage, access, and infrastructure issues.
• Coordinate with network, database, platform, security, DevOps, and application teams to maintain availability.
• Develop technical documentation covering configurations, procedures, security controls, troubleshooting, and recovery.
• Support secure operation of enterprise systems while upholding security, privacy, and data governance.
