RTX in Pelham, NH seeks a Senior System Administrator to support classified programs within Information Workplace Services. You will administer Windows and Red Hat environments, work with Cybersecurity to meet security requirements, and help define computing needs for end-to-end IT solutions.

You must obtain DoD 8140/8570 certifications within 6 months and be available for travel up to 5% domestically. The role is onsite with competitive benefits and relocation assistance where eligible.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in systems administration and/or IT service desk support.
• Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance and U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
• Experience with installation, configuration, and administration of Windows operating systems.
• Experience with developing solutions and documenting technical problems and their solutions.
• Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, and ESX or other virtualization methods.

Responsabilidades

• Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.
• Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope, including integration of hardware and OS.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
• Provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Must be able to obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date.
• Systems are operational 24x7 and may require work beyond standard hours.
• Travel up to 5% per year to other US Domestic locations.
