Job summary

RTX in Woburn, MA seeks a Senior System Administrator (Senior Analyst) to support classified programs by developing, implementing, and maintaining secure IT environments. You will collaborate across teams to define computing requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions for complex infrastructure.

The role requires a DoD secret clearance or the ability to obtain it, 6 months to secure certification (DoDD 8140/8570), and full-time onsite work. Windows and Red Hat experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2+ years of relevant prior experience.
• Eligible for a U.S. government issued secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Must have Windows experience; experience with Windows in a heterogeneous Windows and Red Hat environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems administration in a heterogeneous Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity; hardware and OS integration.
• Install and configure software applications requested by end users; collaborate with Cybersecurity.
• Maintain documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
