Job summary
SHR Consulting Group is seeking a Senior System Engineer SME to deliver senior-level engineering, infrastructure administration, cybersecurity, and Tier III support for the DISA J6 ITS/DMM environment. Onsite duties include server maintenance, automation, ATO sustainment, and collaboration with DoD teams across NCR.
The role requires DoD IT experience, 7+ years in enterprise systems, Windows Server/SQL/IIS, and scripting in PowerShell, Python, or C#/C++.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT related field.
- Minimum 7 years of enterprise systems engineering, infrastructure administration, or Tier III support.
- Experience with Windows Server, MS SQL Server, and IIS environments.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, and/or C#/C++).
- Familiarity with RMF, ATO, STIGs, ACAS, and vulnerability remediation.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior systems engineering and Tier III support for ITS/DMM.
- Administer Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, and enterprise applications.
- Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, and C#/C++.
- Coordinate changes through government change-management processes.
- Support cybersecurity engineering and ATO sustainment.
