District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) seeks a Specialist, Systems Administrator to provide level 2 escalation support for instructional and business platforms. The role includes hands-on admin work across Office 365, Entra ID, Teams, and Exchange, with emphasis on security and reliability.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of enterprise Azure/AD/Office 365 administration, with Master’s preferred and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3–5 years of enterprise Azure/AD/Office 365 administration.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Microsoft Azure and Office 365 certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides level 2 in-person and virtual business and education platforms support to DCPS staff and students as escalation from the service desk.
• Documents incidents, problems, and service requests through the district’s ITSM.
• Follows strict service level agreements to ensure timely service.
• Supports configuration of business and education platforms to ensure requirements are implemented with fidelity and security.
• Maintains and administers Office 365, Entra, Teams, and Exchange; supports Canvas, Clever.
