Job summary

CACI is seeking a cleared Senior Systems Administrator to support a virtualized environment at Langley AFB as part of the DCGS modernization. You will work with Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, Eracent, and related teams to ensure 24/7 operational readiness.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, system monitoring, patch management, and coordination across multiple teams. A TS/SCI clearance and Security+ CE are required, with strong experience in Eracent and VMware.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, update, and enhance the DCGS Asset Management System (Eracent).
• Assist with Eracent upgrades and perform monthly audit file updates and daily checks.
• Monitor systems (vROPs, vCenter, Aria Ops, Eracent, Elastic Search) for 100% availability.
• Ensure information system integrity, confidentiality and availability via patch management and AV updates.
• Respond to outages and technical queries; document CM and configurations.
• Provide guidance to Tier 1 and 2 personnel.

The Opportunity

CACI is seeking a cleared Sr. Systems Administrator to support a virtualized environment running various Software and Asset management technologies at Langley AFB. This is an immediate need that is supporting the Distributed Ground System (DGS) modernization, system operations and promotion. OA DCGS leverages Microsoft 's Active Directory environment to provide many of the enterprise services and operating environments and we are looking for candidates skilled using this technology. The candidate for this position should be comfortable troubleshooting various issues within Windows and Linux Servers, Active Directory, Eracent, and working technical issues with other teams (Database, VMware, Active Directory, Networks, etc.) and be willing to learn other technologies as client requirements evolve. Your number one priority will be direct support to the Enterprise Systems Engineering team. You will be part of its existing Monitoring Team and perform majority of work within the DCGS Management Center utilizing admin workstations to access the Controlled Test Enterprise and the Operational Enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Play a major role maintaining, troubleshooting, updating, and enhancing the AF DCGS Asset Management System which is currently Eracent.
• Assist with major Eracent upgrades and perform general maintenance activities that include monthly Eracent Audit File updates and daily checks.
• Facilitate the overall DMC team effort when priorities allow for it.
• Monitor systems such as vROPs, vCenter, Aria Ops, Eracent, Elastic Search, etc. for 100% availability as needed by the Enterprise Systems Engineering team.
• Responsible for the integrity, confidentiality, availability of information systems through patch management to include anti-virus installation, signature file updates and data archival/restoral.
• Respond and resolve service outages, technical queries and other system related issues.
• Conduct systems analysis and development to keep systems as current as possible with changing technology.
• Update and document configuration management and troubleshoot any reported problems.
• Provide technical guidance to Tier 1 and 2 personnel.

Qualifications

• Required: Active TS/SCI.
• Required: At least 3 years of experience with a BS degree. An additional 4 years of experience with an AS degree may be substituted for no BS degree.
• Required: Security + CE certification.
• Required: Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Eracent, Linux and Windows Servers, VMWare, PowerShell, Puppet, Elastic Search.
• Desired: Knowledge, desire, and ability to become a Subject Matter Expert on Eracent.
