Job summary

Qualifications

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required.
• BA/BS and 8+ years of experience; Masters and 6+ years of experience; an additional four years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator.
• Demonstrated experience supporting MS, LINUX, and UNIX based servers.
• Experience working with both virtual and physical servers.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing server administration and management for virtual and physical servers, including building, documenting, operating, maintaining, and supporting enterprise, regional, and local physical and virtual servers supporting mission applications and systems, as well as underlying shared services.
• Collaborating with Sponsor’s partners to install, configure, and maintain servers or other computer systems.
• Documenting hardware, system support, diagnostic software, and configuration settings for the full lifecycle of the delivered capability.
• Planning for and responding to service outages and other issues.
• Installing system upgrades.
• Managing system resources and optimizing performance.
• Performing system startup, shutdown, diagnostics, file management, user and group setups, and login script configurations.
• Coordinating system downtime for maintenance, patches, upgrades, or new releases.
• Managing data and file storage, including provisioning, backups, and restorations.
• Ensuring proper training for computer operators.
• Providing support for Microsoft, LINUX, and Unix-based server environments, and other OSs as needed.
