Job summary

Progressive IT in Irving, TX is seeking a senior Systems Administrator to own day-to-day administration of our Microsoft 365 environment, Intune endpoint management, and hybrid AD infrastructure. This hands-on role requires independent problem solving, troubleshooting identity and endpoint issues, and driving improvements across directory services.

Hybrid work with 3 days on-site will be supported by IT leadership.

Qualifications

5–8 years of hands-on systems administration in an enterprise setting.
Advanced Microsoft 365 administration including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams.
Deep expertise with Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
Expert Active Directory with hybrid identity (Entra Connect/AD Connect).
Strong identity security knowledge: conditional access, MFA, RBAC.
PowerShell scripting for admin tasks and Graph PowerShell SDK.
Excellent written and verbal communication; independent problem solving.

Responsibilities

Administer and support Microsoft 365 suite including licensing and service health.
Manage endpoint deployment and device lifecycle via Intune across platforms.
Maintain on-premises/hybrid Active Directory and directory synchronization.
Handle user lifecycle, access provisioning, and conditional access policies.
Troubleshoot escalated identity and M365 service issues.
Document configurations and change management; participate in on-call rotations.
Collaborate with IT leadership on infrastructure projects and security hardening.
