Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior System Verification Engineer to join our Emulation division at the Santa Clara, CA headquarters, onsite. You will work with multiple teams to bring up GPUs and SOCs in emulation, verify high-speed interfaces, and debug system-level issues.

The role requires 8+ years in EE/CS, MS or equivalent, and strong skills in Verilog/VHDL, SystemVerilog, C/C++, UVM, and scripting. Equity and benefits accompany a competitive base salary.

Qualifications

• MS or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in Verilog and/or VHDL, C/C++ and SystemVerilog.
• Experience with UVM verification environments and scripting with Perl, Python and C/C++.
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces PCIe/CXL/NVLINK/IB/Ethernet and low-speed protocols I2C/I3C/SPI/UART.
• Understanding of CPU-GPU coherency and SoC verification.
• Zebu emulation experience with SOC/CPU.

Responsibilities

• Support emulation environments using advanced techniques and testbenches.
• Bring up GPUs, SOCs, Switch, NIC on emulation and root-cause issues.
• Verify high-speed protocols and related subsystems.
• Collaborate with Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance, and Software teams.
• Lead emulation vendors to debug issues and write monitors/checkers.
