Job summary

InvenSense, a TDk group company, seeks a System Validation Engineer to lead MEMS microphone development from design to manufacturing release. You will collaborate with ASIC, MEMS, and package teams and work with test, quality, reliability, and customer applications to deliver high-quality MEMS devices to market.

Responsibilities include planning, executing, analyzing, and reporting electrical and acoustical validations, establishing methodologies, and supporting automated test setups.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering, physics, or related field.
• 5+ years of lab validation/characterization experience shipping MEMS/semiconductor devices.
• Scripting and automation experience is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own validation and characterization across process and test condition corners.
• Conduct performance evaluations (electrical and acoustical) of MEMS, ASIC, and package designs.
• Establish validation methodologies, test coverage, acceptance criteria, and reporting requirements.
• Define validation scope, objectives, plans, and schedules based on input from customers.
• Create documentation for validation tests and support automated test setups.
• Support bring-up of new microphone products and test trim routines.
• Analyze results, perform root-cause analysis, and support debugging with design teams.
• Manage validation equipment and ensure safety/quality compliance.
• Prepare validation reports, summaries, dashboards, and stakeholder presentations.
