Job summary

FastTek Global seeks a Lead System Test Architect Engineer to guide test strategy, methods, and tooling across product development programs. You will partner with design, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust verification and validation processes and drive continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates bring about 10 years in test engineering, strong data analysis, and proven ability to define acceptance criteria, develop fixtures, and mentor engineers.

Qualifications

• 10 years of test engineering experience in a product development environment.
• Experience designing robust, repeatable test methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of test verification, validation, and engineering test practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, optimization, and standardization of test methods for design verification, validation, and performance evaluation.
• Define test strategies, protocols, acceptance criteria, and reporting requirements for new product development.
• Collaborate with design engineering, quality, manufacturing, reliability, and program management teams to align test methods with requirements and timelines.
• Collaborate with CAE teams to optimize physical testing and correlate CAE with physical testing.
• Analyze test data, interpret results, and provide technical recommendations for design decisions.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and test-related issues.
• Develop, qualify, and validate test fixtures, equipment, and lab processes for repeatability.
• Support verification and validation planning throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation including test plans, protocols, reports, and instructions.
• Mentor test engineers and technicians in methodologies and problem-solving.
• Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency, automation, and lab capability.
• Coordinate external testing and third-party labs when required.
