Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking highly motivated software engineers to join the Platform Software team in Santa Clara. You will own end-to-end software integration across firmware, BSP, drivers, GPU software, and release systems, while leading system-level debugging of boot issues and performance regressions.

You will use crash dumps, traces, and telemetry to isolate failures, drive root-cause analysis, and integrate OEM software to ensure stability and power/performance benchmarks across production

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong understanding of ARM microarchitecture and exception levels.
• Understanding of SoC architecture spanning Boot, Security, Power, and OS bring-up.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python for automation and validation tooling.
• Solid understanding of Kernel and Hypervisor internals on Windows and Linux.
• Experience integrating drivers/firmware and debugging kernel components, especially on Windows.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end software integration strategy for products across firmware, BSP, drivers, GPU software, services, test and release systems.
• Lead system-level debugging of boot failures, hangs, crashes, and other defects across system layers.
• Use crash dumps, traces, and telemetry to isolate failures across components.
• Build automated failure classification to distinguish product defects from infrastructure issues.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for escaped defects and recurring problems.
• Integrate OEM and partner software into the NVIDIA software stack for compliance and performance benchmarks.
• Collaborate with architecture, silicon, firmware, and OS teams to enable new features and ensure cross-component integration.
