Qualifications

• 12+ years in System Safety or equivalent engineering role.
• Deep knowledge of MIL-STD-882E and safety standards.
• Experience establishing System Safety frameworks across products.
• Expert in FTA, FHA, SCFTA and FMECA methods.

Responsibilities

• Define System Safety methodology org-wide across product lines.
• Lead System Safety across multiple programs and resolve cross-program conflicts.
• Drive enterprise initiatives to scale System Safety for rapid development.
• Architect tailored safety program plans aligned with MIL-STD-882E.
• Provide expert direction on FHA, FTA, SCFTA, and System Safety Assessments.
• Influence design trades to achieve Design for Safety outcomes.
• Establish hazard management standards and risk mitigation frameworks.
• Represent safety in PDR/CDR/MRR and external engagements.
