Job summary

Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) seeks a Staff System Mechanical Design Lead to drive requirements for a highly complex system. On-site in the greater Baltimore, MD area or Redondo Beach, CA, you will manage use cases, coordinate with subsystems, and ensure successful system reviews.

Applicants must have a STEM degree with deep experience in systems engineering, lifecycle processes, and MBSE; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance with polygraph are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with extensive experience in large-scale systems.
• Experience defining and managing requirements across system segments.
• Knowledge of lifecycle development from SRR to CDR and MBSE concepts.
• Ability to develop use cases and supporting system engineering artifacts.
• U.S. citizen with capability to obtain DoD clearance and polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements management for a single system-level use case spanning multiple segments.
• Coordinate with subsystems during development and participate in major reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR).
• Apply MBSE techniques and MBSE tooling to drive use-case development and verification.
