Job summary

Leidos is seeking a System Engineer with systems administration and software engineering experience to join an agile team. You will provide hands-on administration for a complex network and collaborate with engineers in a DevOps environment.

The role requires strong communication, security posture, and the ability to work in a fast-moving team. Eligible for Top Secret / SCI clearance; US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• BS with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 6+ years in systems administration or equivalent.
• US Citizenship and Top Secret / SCI clearance required or ability to obtain a polygraph.
• Experience performing systems and software engineering activities in an Agile/DevOps environment.
• Familiar with Windows, VMware and Docker environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on system administration for a complex network, locally and distributed.
• Collaborate with engineers across agile teams to ensure engineering rigor.
• Assist development with system administration and network support; perform troubleshooting.
