FlexGen, based in Durham, NC, seeks a Senior System Engineer to lead deployment readiness for data center use cases and to serve as a SME during project execution of energy storage systems. The Senior System Engineer will serve as the main technical resource for deployment readiness efforts on key data center use case solutions efforts during their initial period with the company. Eventually the role will transition for provide SME data center solution expertise during the project execution phase of an energy storage system project. From the design, integration, and commissioning phases of the project, the engineer will act as the bridge between FlexGen HybridOS controls, the project’s assets, and the rest of the data center energy generation assets.
It is critical for the Senior System Engineer to operate with a high degree of self-sufficiency and take ownership of a wide range of engineering and project issues. To ensure successful project outcomes, they should fill the gap between engineering, software integration, and project execution.
