ESRI is hiring a Senior System Engineer for their Professional Services team based in St. Louis, MO. This role will lead the design and delivery of mission-critical ArcGIS deployments supporting Defense and Intelligence operations.

Join Esri’s Professional Services team and lead the design and delivery of mission critical ArcGIS deployments supporting Defense and Intelligence operations. As a Senior System Engineer, you will architect and optimize enterprise scale geospatial systems across complex, secure environments. You will guide customers on deployment strategies, high availability architectures, system performance, and integration across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid infrastructures. You will act as a trusted technical leader, solving complex system challenges, influencing architecture decisions, and ensuring ArcGIS platforms are scalable, resilient, and aligned to mission needs. This role combines deep hands‑on system engineering with technical leadership in environments where performance, security, and mission impact are critical. Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the St. Louis, MO area for this position.
Base salary is one component of our total rewards strategy. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $156,000—$239,200 USD. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
