Esri is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect in St. Louis to lead deployment, optimization, and modernization of ArcGIS Enterprise across defense and intelligence customers.

You will guide architecture decisions, troubleshoot complex environments, and mentor engineers across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid setups. The role requires extensive ArcGIS experience, Windows/Linux administration, and strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#).

• 12+ years of professional experience in a similar position.
• Experience designing, implementing and/or administrating ArcGIS or comparable IT systems (desktop, server and online).
• Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or Linux.
• Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Javascript, C#).
• Familiarity with network concepts and topics (domains, directories, DNS, HTTPS, firewalls, proxies, load-balancing).
• Experience with at least one RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• US citizenship with Active or Current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or STEM related field.

Build and Optimize Enterprise Technology Supporting Critical National Security Missions.

Join Esri`s Professional Services team and lead the deployment, optimization, and modernization of mission critical ArcGIS Enterprise environments supporting Defense and Intelligence customers.

You`ll solve complex technical challenges spanning enterprise infrastructure, cloud, networking, security, databases, automation, high availability, and ArcGIS. As a senior technical resource, you`ll guide customers through architecture and deployment decisions, troubleshoot complex production environments, influence technical strategy, and mentor other engineers.

Esri has a Relocation Assistance Program and can provide support with relocating to the St. Louis, MO area for this position.

• Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing (such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)


• US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or STEM related field

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or STEM related field
• One or more industry-standard IT certifications (such as Esri, Microsoft, Amazon)


• CompTIA Security + certification
• Experience with Esri software including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Runtime and their associates APIs or interfaces


• Cloud-based system operations (SysOps)
