Job summary

firstPRO, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support and enhance a hybrid enterprise infrastructure spanning Microsoft Azure cloud and on-premises environments.

This hands-on role covers Tier III infrastructure support, systems administration, automation, and initiatives with internal IT teams. The position requires 5+ years of experience in enterprise systems, strong Azure and Windows Server skills, and proficiency in PowerShell scripting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Systems Engineering or Infrastructure Engineering experience in medium-to-large enterprise environments.
• Strong experience administering Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Experience providing Tier III infrastructure support and troubleshooting complex enterprise systems.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, virtualization technologies (VMware or equivalent), and enterprise systems administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, MSSQL, and enterprise monitoring tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier III support for enterprise infrastructure, troubleshooting and resolving complex systems, server, and cloud-related issues.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Support infrastructure improvement projects, system upgrades, migrations, and automation initiatives using PowerShell.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure performance, availability, and security.
• Configure and support core infrastructure services including DNS, DHCP, virtualization, and identity management.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and DevOps teams on enterprise technology initiatives.
• Assist with security monitoring and incident response utilizing Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and enterprise monitoring tools.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to junior team members while assisting with occasional escalated desktop and end-user support issues.
• Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and technical solutions.

Our customer, a leading alternative asset management firm, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support and enhance a hybrid enterprise infrastructure spanning both Microsoft Azure cloud and on-premises environments. This hands-on role is responsible for Tier III infrastructure support, systems administration, automation, and infrastructure improvement initiatives while partnering with internal IT teams to ensure a secure, scalable, and reliable technology environment. This is a hybrid position requiring four days onsite in Radnor, PA and remote work on Fridays.
