Belay Technologies in Columbia, MD seeks a Systems Engineer for our intel team to support visualization and prototyping for analytic tools. The role focuses on migrating data from legacy systems to a new platform and building a universal model database from reverse engineered sources.

Candidates must hold TS/SCI with polygraph and either 20 years of experience with a related degree, or 25 years without a degree; experience with SQL and data analysis and security are essential.

As a Systems Engineer at you will be joining an exciting mission centered around providing visualization and presentation services for the prototyping, development, and production of analytic tools. The team is responsible for reverse engineering 40 databases to create a universal model database so that data can be sorted, found, and analyzed efficiently. You will work on a small team to provide impactful contributions to a supportive customer. This role is key to the successful migration of business data from legacy systems to a new platform.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
• 20 years with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Systems Engineering (or related field) or 25 years without the degree.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Experience with database design and modeling
• Experience utilizing SQL within relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, Postgres)
• Experience reverse engineering systems in both front-end and back-end capacities
• Experience with data analysis and visualization, data normalization and cleansing, and data security

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• Experience with Oracle
• Knowledge of existing BM&A systems

Salary Range: $168,000 to $240,000
