Job summary

Belay Technologies seeks a Mid-Level System Engineer to join its intel team in Columbia, Maryland. The role applies systems engineering across the full lifecycle, coordinating with government overseers and executives to ensure technical integrity and quality of deliverables across multiple ISO/IEC15288 processes.

The candidate should have TS/SCI with polygraph, a relevant engineering degree (Bachelor’s with experience, Master’s or PhD preferred), and experience in IMS scheduling and

Qualifications

  • Must have TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field plus 2+ years systems engineering experience; or Master’s/PhD in engineering; or high school diploma with 6+ years of experience.
  • Master’s degree or PhD preferred for advanced engineering work.

Responsibilities

  • Apply systems engineering principles across lifecycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, Retirement.
  • Interacts with Government and program personnel on SE technical considerations and issues.
  • Ensure technical integrity, quality, and completeness across ISO/IEC15288 process areas.

Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level System Engineer to join our intel team. This candidate will applysystems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288:

  • (U) Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
  • (U) Project Process Area - Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, InformationManagement, and Measurement.
  • (U) Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
  • (U) Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus six (6) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area).
    OR
    A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience.
  • A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
    OR
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Candidates are desired to have the following skills:
  • Developing and maintaining a Microsoft Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and configuration management for software development
  • Desired skills/background in program management to help with high-level presentations, documentation, and operations

Salary Range: $105,000 to $200,000
