Job summary

Belay Technologies in Columbia, MD, is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our intel team. You will help visualize and present data for prototyping, development, and production of analytic tools, and contribute to migrating business data from legacy systems to a new platform.

The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, 20 years’ experience with a relevant degree or 25 years without. Knowledge of database design, SQL, reverse engineering, and data analysis is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide visualization and presentation services for prototyping, development, and production of analytic tools.

• Contribute on a small team to support a DoD DoD-related customer and migration of data from legacy systems to a new platform.

As a Systems Engineer at you will be joining an exciting mission centered around providing visualization and presentation services for the prototyping, development, and production of analytic tools. The team is responsible for reverse engineering 40 databases to create a universal model database so that data can be sorted, found, and analyzed efficiently. You will work on a small team to provide impactful contributions to a supportive customer. This role is key to the successful migration of business data from legacy systems to a new platform.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
• 20 years with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Systems Engineering (or related field) or 25 years without the degree.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

• Experience with database design and modeling
• Experience utilizing SQL within relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, Postgres)
• Experience reverse engineering systems in both front-end and back-end capacities
• Experience with data analysis and visualization, data normalization and cleansing, and data security

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

• Experience with Oracle
• Knowledge of existing BM&A systems

Salary Range: $168,000 to $240,000
