Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in system administration, engineering, information assurance, or cybersecurity roles.
• 5+ years of experience in administering a highly available customer-serving infrastructure.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., GSEC, Security+).

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot systems, including hardware and software
• Develop and engineer new hardware and software solutions to meet best practices, security, and compliance standards
• Support the deployment and configuration of hardware and software
• Maintain documentation of configurations, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Support and perform system upgrades, patching, and migrations

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active Top Secret security clearance
• Monday - Friday, onsite in Manassas, VA
• 10+ years of experience in system administration, engineering, information assurance, or cybersecurity roles (preferably supporting federal IT projects)
• 5+ years of demonstrable experience in administering a highly available customer-serving infrastructure
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Additional years of professional experience and IT certifications may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher compliant certification, e.g., GSEC, Security+
• Proven experience with Red Hat Linux Administration
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Be a self-starter who is not afraid to speak up and voice their opinions, as well as a skilled generalist who has the confidence to take on whatever projects are needed
• Ability to write clear, detailed, and accurate system documentation
