A leading technology firm in Maryland is seeking a Senior System Engineer to join the intel team. The ideal candidate should possess strong networking experience and have knowledge of SCCM, Nessus Manager/ACAS systems, and Unix. Qualifications

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph.
• Twenty (20) years' experience as a Systems Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts.
• Five (5) years additional Systems Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develop technical documentation and system architecture and design documentation.
• Guide system development and implementation planning.

Skills

Understanding of SCCM and the Nessus Manager/ACAS systems

Experience with Certagent, PKI, TLS, and Unix

Strong networking experience

Background in Splunk and ELK SIEM preferred

Education

You should have strong networking experience and an understanding of SCCM and the Nessus Manager/ACAS systems, experience with Certagent, PKI, TLS, and Unix, analyze user requirements, and produce concept of operation documents and high‑level system architecture to develop system requirement specifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
• Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
• Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations.
• Develop technical documentation and system architecture and design documentation.
• Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
• Take ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of the work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
• Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
