System Soft Technologies in Colorado Springs is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer to provide advanced architectural and technical support for enterprise systems. The role requires planning, implementation, maintenance, and operation of compute, storage, and cloud resources with in-person presence.

You will work across Windows, VMware, Office 365, and Active Directory environments, collaborate with IT staff and customers, and ensure high availability.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Seven years of hands-on enterprise systems experience in large multi-user environments.
• Experience with ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
• Experience with Windows, VMware, 0365, and Active Directory.

The Sr Systems Engineer provides advanced architectural and technical support for enterprise systems supporting the Client. Responsible for planning, implementation, maintenance, and operation of compute (physical, virtual, and cloud) and storage resources, enterprise software, monitoring tools, and related components. Supports a wide range of hardware, operating systems, applications, appliances, and services. Position requires regular in-person presence.

Responsibilities

• Must possess strong analytical skills.
• Ability to serve as and have expertise as a high-level, technical resource to IT staff and experience performing needs analysis, project planning, and resource scheduling.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including the ability to articulate user needs in technical and non-technical terms.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with co-workers, clients, and contractors. Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related field.
• Four years of related professional experience may substitute for the required degree.
• Seven years of direct hands-on experience with installing, supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise systems in a large, multi-user, multi-application environment.
• Significant experience with ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes and principles.
• Experience with physical and virtual server environments, including Windows, VMware, 0365, and Active Directory.
• Experience with ticket-based Service Desk software system.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, Cloud technologies, System monitoring/alerting, performance tuning,
