Job summary

AMD is seeking a specialized engineering professional to lead technical planning for next-gen AMD microprocessors. This role acts as a key technical contact to design, validation and product engineering teams, driving decisions with accountability for accuracy and reliability of critical project results.

The candidate will influence technical decisions across multiple products, mentor junior engineers, and lead validation strategies and milestone exits in a high-impact environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer engineering, computer science, or electrical engineering.
• Strong experience in post-silicon/server/SoC validation and platform validation.
• Ability to develop and implement validation strategies, test plans, and milestone criteria.
• Proficient in debugging techniques and handling complex validation environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design, validation, and architecture teams for test plan development, validation, and debugging.
• Develop test program infrastructure incorporating latest best-known methods.
• Lead the development and implementation of significant process changes to improve efficiency.
• Identify and plan product improvement activities to reduce cost and resolve quality issues.
