Job summary

Nobel Biocare seeks a System Architect to define end-to-end architecture and product vision for next‑gen clinical solutions. You will translate unmet customer needs and emerging technologies into scalable designs, establishing frameworks, requirements, and integration strategies across hardware and software domains.

You will lead hands‑on design and rapid prototyping, mentor engineers, and drive agile delivery while ensuring manufacturability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or similar).
• 15+ years of experience designing and developing complex products that integrate multiple engineering disciplines.
• 5+ years of system-level architecture experience, including ownership of system design, subsystem definition, and integration.
• Proven track record of bringing innovative products from concept through development and into market.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% to support ideation, voice‑of‑customer, and supplier development activities.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and product direction.
• Drive subsystem integration and interoperability across electrical, mechanical, optical, and software domains.
• Lead hands-on system design and rapid prototyping to validate architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and execution discipline with agile delivery.
• Collaborate across Product Management, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality, and external partners.
