Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions seeks an experienced Radiology IT Administrator to manage Cerner Radiology and PACS environments. You will handle day-to-day Synapse/Cerner integration tasks, DICOM routing, and 24/7 monitoring to ensure smooth imaging workflows.

You will collaborate with radiologists and technologists to translate clinical needs into technical solutions, maintain documentation, and support go-live and post-implementation training. Strong SQL and ServiceNow skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or Healthcare Informatics or related field.
• Experience with Cerner Radiology and PACS applications.
• Strong knowledge of DICOM, HL7, and radiology imaging workflows.

Responsibilities

Radiology Cerner Radiology Information System (RIS), Radiology scheduling, order management, imaging workflows PACS & HL7 Integration, DICOM, PACS integration Production Support & Clinical Application Management, Application Support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Fujifilm Synapse PACS day-to-day administration during IST hours.
• Troubleshoot DICOM connectivity, image routing, and retrieval issues.
• Support Fuji VNA operations: archive operations, retrieval, lifecycle.
• Maintain 24/7 PACS monitoring discipline with IST prime coverage.
• Support Synapse-Cerner integration issues.
• Triage Maclab and Epiphany interface issues.
• Maintain ServiceNow queue discipline.
• Provide end-to-end support for Cerner Radiology and PACS applications.
• Analyze radiology workflow requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
• Configure, maintain, test, and optimize PACS/Radiology systems and workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, incidents, and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Support radiology workflows including scheduling, order management, image acquisition, image storage, and result reporting.
• Collaborate with radiologists, imaging technicians, clinicians, and technical teams for workflow optimization.
• Support integration activities involving PACS systems, DICOM interfaces, HL7 interfaces, and third-party imaging systems.
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, enhancements, and release management activities.
• Monitor application performance and conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, imaging standards, and organizational policies.
• Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, knowledge articles, and training materials.
• Provide go-live, post-implementation, and user training support.

Required Technical Skills

• Fujifilm Synapse Administration (required) : Fujifilm Synapse PACS day-to-day administration. User and worklist management. Hanging protocol troubleshooting.
• DICOM Troubleshooting (required) : DICOM troubleshooting: modality connectivity, image routing, retrieval.
• Fuji VNA Support (required) : Fuji VNA support: archive operations, retrieval, lifecycle management.
• Image Routing (required) : Image routing logic. PACS Gear management for modality connectivity.
• 24/7 Monitoring (required) : 24/7 PACS monitoring discipline with IST prime coverage.
• Synapse-Cerner Integration : (preferred)
• Cardiology Imaging Triage (preferred) : Maclab and Epiphany interface triage. VIE external image exchange support.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cerner Radiology and PACS applications.
• Good understanding of radiology workflows and imaging operations.
• Experience with PACS systems, DICOM standards, and imaging integrations.
• Knowledge of Cerner Millennium architecture and healthcare systems.
• Familiarity with HL7 interfaces and interoperability standards.
• Experience in incident management, problem management, and production support.
• Working knowledge of SQL queries and reporting is preferred.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, imaging, and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Radiology Technology, or related field.
• Cerner Radiology/PACS certification preferred.
• ITIL certification preferred.
• Experience in AMS/support healthcare projects is an added advantage.
