Job summary

ARSIEM Corporation is seeking a System Administrator to lead front-end architecture and development for mission-critical systems, translating UX designs into scalable interfaces while mentoring UI developers in an agile environment. The role supports a government client in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The position requires 10 years of SA experience, DoD 8570 IAT Level I or higher, and hands-on DevOps with Ansible, AWS or Terraform to implement and maintain IT systems across UNIX and Windows

Qualifications

• Experience with IT systems in DoD or government programs is required.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level I or higher is required.
• Ten years of SA experience in similar scope and complexity is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Supports day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices.
• Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
• Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
• Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
