Job summary

Mphasis is seeking a Systems Administrator in Georgia to maintain and optimize server hardware and software, ensuring uptime and alignment with IT policies.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, strong certification background (MCSA/MCSE or equivalent), and hands-on with Windows and UNIX/Linux, backups, monitoring, and incident response. You will manage data center environments, apply patches, and support end users in a dynamic IT setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in systems administration.
• MCSE or MCSE-equivalent certifications required.
• Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux systems.
• Knowledge of backups, DR, and capacity planning.
• Familiarity with enterprise tools (Exchange, VMware, SharePoint, Citrix).

Responsibilities

• Perform provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of server systems and related infrastructure.
• Monitor system health, backups, logs, and scheduled jobs; ensure uptime and reliability.
• Apply OS patches and upgrades; perform routine performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Provide Level 2/3 support and troubleshoot complex issues for end users.
• Maintain documentation, security monitoring, and adherence to IT policies.
