Job summary

GIGATEC Engineering seeks a seasoned System Administrator to manage the Agency's HPC infrastructure and development environment. You will handle Linux cluster administration, scripting, and automation using Ansible, SaltStack, and Red Hat Satellite, ensuring high availability and security.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, completion of a polygraph, and full authorization to work in the United States. Experience with big data tooling and virtualization is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years of experience in systems administration or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance with favorable polygraph.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not provided.
• Extensive experience with large-scale Linux clusters and virtualization.
• Experience with Linux storage, networking, load balancing, and security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide network management and systems administration for HPC infrastructure and development environment.
• Automate deployment, provisioning, and patching using Red Hat Satellite and IaC tools.
• Install, configure, and support COTS/GOTS/FOSS software on Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot issues, engage with customers, generate reports and metrics.
• Maintain security compliance with corporate policies and accreditation processes.
• Manage VMware ESXi environments and related virtualization components.
