Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners, Inc. is seeking System Administrators to support the implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of mission-critical IT systems and infrastructure in a security-conscious environment.

The role spans UNIX, Windows, storage, networks, and end-user environments with emphasis on reliability, performance, and security. Level 2 focuses on hands-on operational support, while Level 3 adds systems design, SOA interdependencies, and advanced enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Ten (10) years of System Administrator experience for Level 2.
• Fifteen (15) years of System Administrator experience for Level 3.

Responsibilities

• Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for IT systems and infrastructure.
• Manage day-to-day operation, configuration, and monitoring of IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support for hardware, software, network, storage, and OS issues.
• Assist users with system access, functionality, and technical support requests.
• Support client, server, storage, network, and mobile device environments.
• Configure, manage, and maintain UNIX, Windows, or other applicable operating systems.
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot operating system software and network components.
• Analyze and resolve system issues while maintaining system integrity and performance.
• Support ticket escalation processes and communicate status updates to management and customers.
• Perform system capacity analysis, resource planning, and operational optimization.
• Provide detailed technical analysis and recommendations for escalated issues.
• Support dispatch operations and remain engaged through problem resolution.
