Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer infrastructure and requirements for migration.
  • Communicate work requirements to meet migration timelines.
  • Develop prioritization and migration plans.
  • Create and maintain diagrams, playbooks, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide necessary support.
  • Conduct post-migration evaluations of adopted services.
  • Develop and maintain network architecture and infrastructure.
  • Document network configuration including drawings and lists.
  • Ensure SLA compliance and create reports.
  • Manage system security and user accounts.
  • Monitor system performance and capacity.
  • Implement security procedures and resolve issues.
  • Update documentation of procedures and processes.
  • Manage service requests and ticketing system.

Responsibilities
  • Gain understanding of a customer's current infrastructure and the requirements to migrate to centrally managed services.
  • Adequately communicate all pre‑conditional work/requirements to ensure migration timelines are being met.
  • Assist in developing a prioritization and migration plan to include INIREN responsibilities, resourcing, and timelines.
  • Work closely with technical implementers and project managers to ensure understanding, risks, and limitations.
  • Create and maintain detailed diagrams, playbooks, checklists, issue trackers, and best practices to support migration efforts.
  • Work with the CET team to troubleshoot technical issues and risks, providing the required technical support as needed.
  • Post‑migration evaluation of adopted services.
  • Develop and maintain network architecture and infrastructure including installation, testing, upgrades, and other required maintenance. This infrastructure includes, but is not limited to, the border security stack, remote site hardware, Software Defined Networking (SDN), storage/compute fabric, WAN/LAN, and management network.
  • Provide network configuration and documentation including network drawings and hardware/software lists.
  • Ensure services, configurations, and infrastructure conform to all applicable SLAs, MOA/MOUs, and design documents. Create and submit reports showing SLA compliance.
  • Provide administration and network security on production services.
  • Manage computer/user accounts, privileges, and system access.
  • Manage system resources in the monitoring of performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability.
  • Implement security procedures, resolve hardware and software interface and interoperability problems.
  • Ensure system availability, integrity, and efficiency, and maintain system configuration and documentation.
  • Manage the installation and integration of system fixes, updates, and enhancements.
  • Create and update documentation of standard procedures and processes.
  • Respond to assigned service requests, and maintain and update the service request ticketing system with accurate accounting of the details of tasking performed.
  • Document problem resolution, time spent, follow‑on actions, resulting change requests or subtasks, and closing out tickets in a timely manner.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 3 years of experience in system analysis or IT management is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must possess DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level III Certification (CASP/Security X) or higher.
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
