Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is hiring an Information Security Analyst as the Information Security Systems Officer (ISSO) to support our NAVAIR program in Patuxent River, MD. The role will perform Information Assurance and RMF activities, including preparing RMF documentation, IATTs, and CyberSafe readiness.

The ideal candidate holds a DoD 8570-1M certification, an active DoD Secret clearance, 3+ years of relevant experience, and can work onsite in a collaborative team with SMEs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
• One of the DoD 8570-1M certifications to start (CAP, SecurityX CE, GSLC, CISM, CISSP).
• Active DoD Secret clearance required to start; Top Secret potential.
• Journeyman-level independence expected; onsite daily work in the customer lab.
• Familiarity with RMF processes and cybersecurity/A&A tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ISSO for designated NAVAIR program.
• Manage day-to-day cybersecurity activities.
• Perform RMF duties and prepare RMF documentation.
• Prepare IATTs and Use Case MFRs for development/testing.
• Prepare for CyberSafe authorization alongside system authorizations.
• Establish cybersecurity policies and a Cybersecurity Plan.
• Asset and vulnerability management via VRAM reporting.
• Collaborate with SMEs on security assessments and RMF activities.
• Perform system security assessments and review software IAW DITPR/DADMS requirements.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience are required. An associate degree plus four (4) additional years of relevant work experience or High School Diploma plus (6) additional years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• The applicant must meet the certification and clearance requirements established IAW the DoD Manual 8570-1M. The applicant must have one of the following certifications to start{{:}}
  • CAP / CGRC
  • SecurityX CE
  • GSLC
  • CISM
  • CISSP
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start with a potential to be upgraded to a Top Secret.The applicant may be subjected to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• As a Journeyman-level position, the selected candidate will be expected to perform all functional duties independently
• The worked performed will be onsite in the customer lab. The candidate will be expected to report onsite daily to perform the required duties

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000.
