Job summary

HistoSonics, Inc. in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Principal System Administrator to own the design, operation, and reliability of cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.

You will guard enterprise identity, backup, DR, and environments that support deployed systems in the field, partnering with the AI/R&D Infrastructure team. You will establish observability, set SLAs, and drive automation via IaC, while leading incident response and on‑call activities as a senior technical escalation point for the IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in system administration, infrastructure engineering, or SRE at senior level.
• Expert with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS or Azure) and governance experience.
• Experience operating production environments with SLAs, change control, and incident response.
• Strong scripting and automation skills across PowerShell, Python, and Bash.

Responsibilities

• Own design, operation, and testing of cloud and on‑prem infrastructure and identity services.
• Define observability platforms with metrics, logs, traces, and alerting across environments.
• Lead IaC and CI/CD pipelines; establish cloud governance and policy standards.
