Job summary

Andersen is seeking a Senior Associate to join our Technology team as a System Administrator, shaping the core infrastructure across a global hybrid environment. You will manage cloud migrations, automation, and security initiatives while maintaining system performance and availability.

The role emphasizes proactive monitoring, mentorship, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will influence infrastructure stability and scalability in a fast-paced firm, ensuring Zero Trust alignment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of hands-on system administration in an enterprise
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory/Entra ID
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs
• Experience with scripting/automation (PowerShell)
• Proven troubleshooting of complex multi-layer infrastructure
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams/time zones
• Hours: 11:00am - 8:00pm

Responsibilities

• Administer core Microsoft infrastructure (AD, Entra ID, M365) in a global hybrid environment
• Manage server lifecycle with automation and consistency
• Monitor system health, logs, metrics, and alerts
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity teams
• Maintain documentation, standards, and procedures for audit readiness
• Mentor junior IT staff and share knowledge across the team
• Support cloud migrations, upgrades, and integration of acquired firms
• Contribute to automation, IaC, and repeatable deployment practices
• Provide on-call operational support and incident response
