Job summary

LEAP is seeking a Senior System Administrator to own day-to-day operations, security, and continuous improvement across LEAP's hybrid infrastructure in Colorado. You will administer cloud environments, secure the network, and manage endpoints while overseeing backups, disaster recovery, and asset lifecycles for a fast-growing space logistics company.

Role requires hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID, Azure, AWS, Fortinet, VPN, and endpoint tools; a focus on automation and strong

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, and AWS.
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls, VPN, switching, routing, VLANs, and wireless networking.
• Knowledge of endpoint tools like Microsoft Intune and SentinelOne.
• Experience managing IT assets and software licensing with a detail-oriented approach.
• Excellent customer service with LEAP employees, outside partners, and contractors.

As our Senior System Administrator, you'll own the day-to-day operation, security, and continuous improvement of LEAP’s hybrid infrastructure, administering our cloud environments, improving and securing LEAP’s network, and implementing cybersecurity initiatives aligned with NIST CSF and CMMC frameworks.

What You Bring to the Team

Required Skills

• Experience administering Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure, and AWS
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls, VPN, switching, routing, VLANs, and wireless networking
• Knowledge of endpoint tools like Microsoft Intune and SentinelOne
• Experience managing IT assets and software licensing with a detail-oriented approach
• Excellent customer service with LEAP employees, outside partners, and contractors

Bonus Points

• Certifications such as Microsoft 365, Fortinet NSE, or Security+
• Experience in a CMMC or similarly regulated environment (e.g., aerospace, defense)

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role reflects various compensation factors. The final offer depends on factors such as work experience, education, training, key skills, and business needs.
