Job summary

Chitra seeks a Senior System Administrator to support the CBL Battle Lab Facility at Fort Gordon, GA. All work is on-site with a focus on experimentation, network support, and validation of new technical solutions in a DoD context.

The candidate must hold CompTIA IAT II and MCSA Server 2012, with five years’ experience in administering networks and systems. VMware ESX/vSphere knowledge and top-secret clearance eligibility are required within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Must possess CompTIA IAT II and MCSA Server 2012 certifications on hire.
• Five years of experience in administering networks and systems within the last eight years.
• Advanced IT administrator skills in remote administration, GPO, backup/recovery, and server monitoring.
• Advanced skills in Collaboration Services including Adobe Connect, Chat, SharePoint and Exchange Server.
• Must obtain VMware ESXi/vSphere certification within six months of hire.
• Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support at Fort Gordon, GA for the CBL Battle Lab Facility.
• Perform experiments, assessments, analyses and network support to validate new technical solutions.
• Maintain remote administration capabilities, monitor server performance, and ensure data backup/recovery.

Job description

The Company is looking for a Senior System Administrator to provide support to CBL Battle Lab Facility located at Fort Gordon, GA. All work will be performed onsite. This contract will support CBL's mission is to provide experimentation support to the C- CDID with a dynamic network experimentation integrated with CO, DODIN-A, EW, and IA through the Cyber Battle Lab’s Experimentation Branch (EB), Environments Support Branch (ESB), and the Army Persistent Experimentation Environment (APEN) Cyber Enterprise Service Center (CESC).

The Experimentation Support contract will provide support in the form of experiments, assessments, analyses and network support that will validate the proposed new technical solutions to resolve known Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership & Education, Personnel, Facilities Policy (DOTMLPF-P) capability gaps within the CO, EW, Network, and IA force modernization lines of effort.

Senior System Administrator RHN-E Shall

• This position is designated as Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT II). Baseline certification: upon hire must already possess (and be maintaining) current, CompTIA commercial certification (or higher, such as CISSP, etc.).
• Computing environment (CE) certification: upon hire, must already possess (and be maintaining) current certification for Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Server 2012.
• Within six months of hire, must obtain either: VMWare certification, VCPS-DCV, or Udemy training certification VMware ESX and vSphere Admin Tutorial, or ITU training certification VMware vSphere VCP5.5.
• A minimum of five (5) years’ experience or equivalent in administering networks and systems, worked directly in the career field during five (5) of the preceding eight (8) years.
• Must possess advanced IT administrator skills in remote administration, remote desktop, Group Policy Object (GPO) management, system backup and recovery, and monitoring servers for performance evaluation and optimization.
• Must possess advanced IT Administrator skills in Collaboration Services, e.g., Adobe Connect Server, Chat Services, SharePoint Portal, and Electronic Email (Exchange) Server.
• Must possess advanced skills in datacenter management, Cloud Services, virtualization, storage area networks (SANs), data/system backups, and asset management.
• Must possess expert remote troubleshooting and customer service skills
• Obtain and Maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
