Qualifications

• Proven track record of safe laboratory practices and methodology.
• A Ph.D. in chemistry is required.
• Understanding of polymer and small molecule design and synthesis is desirable; analytical methods include polymer and film characterization techniques (GPC, IR, NMR, MS, TGA, DSC, AFM, XRR, XPS).

Responsibilities

• Synthesize, design, and develop small molecules, monomers, and polymers for semiconductor applications.
• Apply multistep synthetic organic chemistry knowledge to projects.
• Collaborate in multifunctional teams from concept to scale-up and commercialization.
• Create and secure intellectual property for Qnity.
• Analyze analytical and performance data and write technical reports/presentations.
• Organize data and share results across teams.
• Network internally and with external partners to identify new technology leads.
