Zusammenfassung

Reliant Critical Infrastructure is seeking a Switchgear Technician III in Dallas, TX to support mission-critical electrical systems for data center power distribution. You will lead installation, service, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and operation while ensuring adherence to contractual commitments and project specs.

Travel up to 50% is expected; you will collaborate with sales, project managers, service teams, and factory contacts to resolve issues and support field operations.

Qualifikationen

• Two to five years of experience with mission-critical electrical systems.
• Three to five years of field repair and customer service with UPS, electrical, electromechanical, or electronic equipment.
• Experience with electrical power distribution equipment, switchgear, batteries, monitoring equipment, and generators.
• Hands-on experience with low- and medium-voltage switchgear, disassembly and testing.
• Knowledge of switchgear, protective relaying, and controls operations.

Aufgaben

• Review specifications and bid packages to define field scope of work with project team.
• Install, service and perform preventive maintenance on power equipment.
• Perform functional testing on switchgear, relay panels, ATS and breakers.
• Troubleshoot electrical equipment and coordinate with teams to resolve issues.
• Review relay settings to verify design alignment.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections and assist in commissioning/testing.
• Develop MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs for critical power systems.
• Prepare site testing reports and provide progress updates to management.
• Conduct site visits and respond to service calls as needed.
