JDC Power Systems, LLC is looking for a highly experienced Senior Switchgear Engineer for its Wake Forest, NC office. This essential role involves the design, application, and execution of low- and medium-voltage switchgear systems for mission-critical power applications. The successful candidate will act as a technical authority, supporting design, manufacturing, and field execution.

The ideal candidate will lead and support various technical functions, including development and review of system architectures and technical support to project teams. The position requires deep expertise and offers opportunities for travel and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in switchgear design or commissioning.
• Strong background in critical power systems or industrial power distribution.
• Experience with complex switchgear systems and high-reliability applications.

Responsabilités

• Lead design and application of switchgear systems.
• Develop and review one-line diagrams and system architectures.
• Support manufacturing and field service teams.

Connaissances

Expertise in low- and medium-voltage switchgear

Understanding of bus bar systems

Experience with PLC-controlled transfer schemes

Troubleshooting skills

Communication and leadership skills

Formation

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
